Interviewed for the NZMCA Motor Caravanner Magazine

I’m very excited to share the news that I was featured in the June/July 2017 NZMCA Motor Caravanner Magazine. I was interviewed over the phone and supplied some photos.

They called me a young member – it’s definitely nice to be called young!

After finding a second-hand caravan to buy…

“I went away to sleep on it but I didn’t sleep very well. I wasn’t sure I was making the right decision but I woke up in the morning and I decided to go for it. I filled in the paperwork, the dealer fixed a few things on the caravan and I drove to a campground just down the road. While I was trying to figure out what everything did I remember asking myself: ‘What am I doing?’

“I was a complete newbie. I had to figure out how to empty the toilet and the grey water tank. The very first night there was torrential rain and I was terrified I’d discover a leak but thankfully it was in great nick.”
