Someone tried to break into my car!

I get back from VidCon (YouTube Expo) in Melbourne Australia to find that someone tried to break into my car! There's a bit of metal jammed into the car lock. I had driven to a friends house who lives close to the airport and taken an Uber to save a bit of money.... that back fired.

Boat vs RV

I get to meet Brett who lives full time on a boat in New Zealand. He grew up around boats and has owned a few. His current one is a Tiki 38 James Wharram Designs Catamaran.

Melbourne School Bus Conversion Tour

Melbourne couple convert school bus into home. I filmed Melissa and Shane exactly one year ago in Australia when they were just putting the framing in and it's great to see their home on wheels nearly completed.

RVing in America vs New Zealand

I'm a New Zealander living in a caravan (travel trailer) and Liz is an RVer in America living in an RV (class 3 motorhome). We talk about the differences RVing in our countries and how we find this lifestyle.

RVing At Empty Winter Campgrounds

I move to a Department of Conservation campground which sounded amazing on the Campermate App, but also sounded busy and a little confusion on how to book a site. It's called the Kai Iwi Lakes and is north of Dargaville, New Zealand.

Can't Sleep At This RV Campground!

I'm still at the NZMCA Park in Dargaville and learn that I'm parked at the noisiest spot possible! Looks like there are lots of logging trucks that drive through the town. After moving the caravan, I finally succeed in washing my hair with my caravan shower. Then the weather turns bad...

Caravan at Beach | Exploring North

I stay in the caravan at Uretiti DoC Campground (New Zealand) right by a wild beach. I explore the area with a trip to Waipu Caves.

More City Work Then Beach & Nature Time

I move the caravan back to a city campground (Pinewoods Motor Park) for freelance work. While there, I fix my breakaway cable, empty my toilet cassette and then have fun exploring Shakespear Regional Park.

Drilling Holes In Caravan & Finding Damp Wood

When I had my VSR Cable installed from the car to the caravan battery, it was pointed out how dangerous having a cable through the gas area is. I bought a power drill to help fix this... finally.

Finish Housesitting & Testing Caravan Shower

I finally finish house sitting in Auckland and head back to the caravan. Once back at the caravan, I properly test the shower. It's a successful test and I have 3 theories for what my shower problems have been...

Lilliput Vintage Caravan & DIY Ute Camper

I was lucky to beable to film Robert and Nicola who own a 12 foot Lilliput vintage caravan in New Zealand. The Lilliput caravan is such a cutey! We chat about Roberts caravan experience, the Lilliput caravan club and what they have changed. We also talked about they're new DIY project - a ute with camper on the back - can't wait to see how it turns out!

RV Living While Working in Auckland

When I first bought my caravan I thought it would be easy to live in the caravan and work in Auckland... but it was actually quite difficult. The campgrounds were very expensive or involved a very long drive to work. In this video, I show you where you can stay in a caravan or motorhome in Auckland.

Do I get lonely in the caravan? Do I feel safe as a solo female?

They are two questions I do get asked and today I'm going to attempt to answer them! I've been house-sitting in Auckland, avoiding the rain so the perfect time to sit down for this chat.

Caravanning in Auckland, New Zealand

I stay at two different Auckland campgrounds in the caravan so I can work in the city. I share what my days are like taking the bus into town. I meet 2 of my Patreons and have a work cat on my lap all day. I share my thoughts on what caravanning in a city while working is like.

Driving to Auckland & Getting Caravan Battery Checked

I end up reversing 3 times in one day. 3 times! I drive to Auckland, stopping at AA Solar to check my battery set-up. Since upgrading from 95ah to 390ah, I have found the batteries to not be as powerful as I expected. The technician figures out what was wrong.

Installed Voltage Sensitive Relay, Moved Locations & Tested Caravan Shower

A mechanic at the campground had a spare VSR (voltage sensitive relay). I've been wanting to have an alternative to my solar panel. And I timed it well as the weather turned very cold. My car window even iced over. I then move to a POP (park over property) closer to town for a few days and test out my shower! I'm really not a fan of it.

Fixing Caravan Door Latch, Friction Pads & Reflective Light + Cleaning Exterior

A busy time with all the caravan odd jobs to finish before winter really starts. There are so many broken parts on the caravan I decided to try and start shrinking the 'to do' list. I have managed to replace the broken door latch, replace my very old ALKO friction pads, replace my lost caravan reflective light and give the caravan a good clean.

Bought An Awning & Sorting Caravan Accessories Stored In My Car

I'd planned to get an awning before winter and finally spotted one for sale on Trademe. The owner had used it once and realised it was the wrong size for his caravan. In this video I show how easy it is to put together... it really is like a tent. I also sort out my car boot, move the spare tyre from the back seat and show my extra accessories.

Fibreglass Caravan Wheel Arch Installed & Holes Fixed

Finally finishing fixing all the problems I had with the flat tyre. I’ve been struggling to find a replacement wheel arch or spat as shipping from the UK was extremely expensive! I was curious to know how much a caravan wheel arch would cost made from fibreglass and found a company in the Hawkes Bay area. They wanted me to bring in the other side’s wheel arch and turns out they already has a very similar mould!

All My Broken Caravan Parts

There has been a surprising amount of things breaking in the caravan in the 1.5 years I've lived and travelled in it. The very first thing to break in the caravan was a plastic latch on the skylight. Then the door latch broke, the TV cupboard dropped down, the stove is getting rusty, the steam has curling the fake wood above the stove, mould started along the front window sill, the bin broke and the list keeps going...
